We're complying with the new RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) law in the European Union.

In order to reduce the amount of heavy metals (such as lead and cadmium, etc.) in landfills, the EU has ordered that the use of heavy metals in manufacturing be restricted.

This European legislation has world-wide implications. Since no manufacturer wants to make two separate lines of equipment, most of us are just biting the bullet, so to speak, and going "green" in our entire manufacturing process.

This has meant a bit of re- engineering for each of us, from the individual parts makers all the way to TransLanTech's dealers. So we have used the opportunity to do a re-design of the chassis, to make the new version of the Sequel even more reliable and environmentally-friendly than before.

TransLanTech Sound presents the world famous Ariane Levelers, reknowned for powerful yet inaudible audio level control!  When introduced at the 2001 NAB show in Las Vegas, the original Ariane Stereo Audio Leveler won a coveted Radio World Cool Stuff Award.

In 2005, TransLanTech Sound and Broadcast Warehouse combined resources to produce the all new, all-digital Ariane Sequel Digital Audio Leveler.  Like its predecessor, the Sequel picked up an award, this time a Radio Magazine Pick Hit Award.
